Production Data
The Acharya ("We", "Us", or "Our") built Production Data (the "App") as a simple, private tool, available on the Mac App Store and through TestFlight. This Privacy Policy explains how We handle your information when you use the App, regardless of how you installed it.
Summary
Production Data does not collect, store, transmit, or track any personal data or usage data. The App works entirely on your device and does not connect to any server operated by Us.
Data Collection
We do not collect any information from you, including but not limited to:
- personal information (such as your name or email address);
- device identifiers or diagnostics;
- usage data or analytics;
- location data; or
- any files or content You create or open within the App.
Tracking
The App does not use tracking technologies of any kind. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or any form of cross-app or cross-site tracking, and We do not share data with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes, as We do not collect any data to begin with.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software development kits (SDKs). If a future version of the App includes any third-party service that processes data, We will update this Privacy Policy beforehand.
Our support and documentation site, is hosted independently of the App and may collect standard technical data (such as IP address or browser type) as part of normal website hosting. This is separate from the App itself, which does not transmit any data.
We also use GitHub to host documentation and, where applicable, source code related to the App. If you visit our GitHub repository, GitHub's own privacy practices will apply to that visit. You can read GitHub's Privacy Statement at here.
Apple's Own Data Collection
Apple may collect and use certain usage and performance data from apps available on the App Store to help improve the App Store and the overall user experience. This collection is carried out by Apple, not by Us, applies generally rather than to any individual user, and cannot be opted out of by app developers. If you install the App through TestFlight, Apple's TestFlight service may separately collect certain data, such as crash logs and feedback you choose to submit, in accordance with Apple's TestFlight terms. This collection is also carried out by Apple, not by Us.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, as it does not collect information at all.
App Store Purchases
If you purchase the App from the Mac App Store, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how Apple handles your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of the App after a change means You accept the updated policy.
